My 10:1 HC M30 block has oil jets....!!!!!!!!

I recently pulled the pistons from the HC block due to their sale. When Till and I were loading the block into the trunk of my car for disposable I noticed it. Just like the M106 turbo block, this block has oil jets that squirt the bottom of the pistons with oil....WTF. This is a BMW replacement engine made in 1992. I did not know that the M30 ever came with oil jets from the factory. I can get the engine ID numbers later.

Anyone have any insight into this?

im not sure, but should be able to tell u within a week, i have the same engine. (replacing head gasket, doin some port/polishin, 284 cam and making B35 valves in)
