I don't like this style as well, not being an advocate of the front wheel drive look, wherein the spokes are almost flush with the outer rim, but this one is hubcentric and comes in either 16x7 or 17x8. They do have possibilities though.

I like that first one. Looks like a Borbet wheel, except most of the Borbets I see are 16". Therefore, you could go with that look in 17" except it's an original BMW wheel.

This one is special because it's a 17 inch Style 5 that's hubcentric on an e28, i.e. it's not an e39 wheel.

Yup, the E34 was available with Style 5s, too. I've seen a Canadian one that looks BADASS with the 9" rears. I saw ONE set on eBay in the past year.

They also have a 17x7.5 ET41 (I think that's the offset; can't remember off the top of my head) Style 5 wheel that came on Z3, E36, etc. I've seen a couple sets for sale in the UK but none here stateside.

No mention of forged, but they're hubcentric, with the front wheel drive look (maybe).
