i know the glass and the slide cover. what about the rails, motor, cables?

i wouldnt mind do it, plus if all goes well i will be getting it all from this saab owner, except the sliding cover, for under 150 shipped. i would be the guinea pig i guess. i dont ming about the cover, because i would have to change the headliner to match the black on in my m5. i wouldnt mind ordering that new.

Maybe someone can do a pictorial removal and then a couple weeks later an installation. Be a nice post for us to digest.
I'm in the middle of an installation pictorial, including the recovering of the privacy slider, and modifications to the BMW rail pieces.
As far as what's necessary, grab the glass roof panel, the plastic perimeter frame (screwed to the forward edge of the glass), and the fiberglass upholstered slider.
The Saab slider piece comes with some funky-a$$ tan felt material and a white handle. I replace these items before an installation.
SAAB=Same As A Bimmer (only the moonroof)
