does anyone know where the inside temp sensor is?
...is it important/usefull?

far left lower kick panel above the driver's left foot. If it isn't working , you will get either full heat or no heat, you won't be able to moderate the heat.

really? it seems everything is the source of no heat
thermostat, heater valve, bad connections, etc...
...is there anyway to test the interior thermo, before i decide to replaced it?

The Bentley lists Interior temperature sensor test values. chap 21 pg 7.
green/yellow and brown wires: (1 and 3)
@ 77F = 33+/- 8.5 ohms
blue and brown wires: (2 and 3)
@104F = 4700-5400 ohms
@86F = 7500-8400 ohms
@77F = 9500-10500 ohms
@68F = 12000-13300 ohms
@59F = 15100-17200 ohms
@50F = 19400-22100 ohms
@32F = 32400-37700 ohms
Hope that helps, so you can at least rule out the sensor.
