I wound up sideways twice on the way to work yesterday. I've driven my 5er in the snow before, but never was the ride like this! Both adrenaline producing events happened at very low speeds, less than 10mph. One on a curve, one going straight, but up hill. (for the locals, one was on Owensville the other on 250 between Ivy and Farmington)
Tires are one-year-old Falcon Ziex 512's.
Thoughts?
btw, My car is exhibiting all of the typical worn sub-frame bushing symptoms. I'll be tackling that job come spring.

sure will. you may have already done it, but you definitely want to check the dogbones first. Mine were completely gone. I still need subframe bushings, too , but new dogbones corrected AT LEAST 50% of the problem.

Seymour,
I have been dropping the hint to Justin that we need to do another shop day at the High School. He said that he would talk to his dad. That would be a perfect time to have a rear subfrome bushing fest. Hey, but if we don't get together up there I would be interested in doing the job with you. S. Haygood has the tool and we can knock them out. Let me know something.

It's a very easy job, too! Especially if you have air.
