It's possible it got deleted accidentally along with some spam postings. There were a couple spambots today. I don't think anybody did it intentionally, sorry about that.

 You're new here, so let me explain it simply. This place is an asylum, and it's run by the inmates. You'd have to post something pretty heinous in order for it to just disappear, and you'd probably hear about it via PM. That's why I'm pretty confident yours was deleted by accident.

I'm not too happy about that, as that sort of thing really shouldn't happen. With a bunch of unpaid volunteers running the show though, accidents are bound to happen every now and then.

Actually, I've got it figured it out now. I should've put on my detective hat sooner. You didn't break any rules, per se, but it appears that you did post the same content twice. You experiences some simple board cleanup, nothing more.

is the same as the thread you just started here:

So yea, the second thread likely got deleted because it was identical or nearly identical to the first. I've locked the older one so there's only one active thread on that subject from you at the moment.

that's weird, i only created the second one because i thought the first one got deleted -- but it looks like that isn't the case (both of the links you provided work). would you mind deleting one of them now?

thanks again.
