So now I find out the ignition wires are different, but I am dunno how does it connect together.
There is a connection to the diagnostic plug, next to the pulse generator connector, but the other end of my harness was cut. TIA

There is an inductive pickup in the ignition wires, which connects to the pulse generator up front by the toothed damper. In my case the wire was cut at the inductive pickup, but a new ignition wire comes with this piece, so no problem.
Thanks Steve Haygoood for the explanation.

I remember those Super Eta plug wires with the pulse generator on the Super E engine and auto tranny I bought a few years ago. The guy cut the harness off of mine, too. HOW HARD IS IT TO DISCONNECT ALL OF THE CONNECTORS WHEN YOU'RE REMOVING THE ENGINE SO THAT YOU CAN KEEP THE WHOLE HARNESS?! Don't you agree, J? :)

What kind of connector is it next to the diagnostic plug? Size, shape, number of pins, etc, would be helpful.

See if you can find someone with a super eta and check out which plug they had and order a new one from da' parts pimp.
