The time has come...

Post by 1st 5er »

I've made up my mind to downsize, getting rid of everything non-Bimmer,
and most if not all of the nine, yes that's not a typo, 9 parts cars. I've got too many distractions from keeping our cars anything more than just running properly.
Example, 14 months after 1st 5er's clutch failure of 2011 RTT, she's back on the road.

There, I've said it.
I feel better.

Now to follow through...

Admitting it is the first step! Good luck, I'm suffering from a similar affliction and haven't gotten as far as you yet, I may need counsel.

Understood. I went out and bought the 318ti because I had too many car projects.

I'd love to see the entire crop.

Well spring is when everyone sells their car so maybe you should wait until next fall... But of course that's heading into winter and it's a good idea to have a spare car or 8 just incase so maybe the following summer... But then...

If you do decide to come to Wilmington let me know. I'll have my brother-in-law Navin throw a party and smoke a brisket for you. Give me some advance notice though as Navin is prone to just wander off sometimes.

Hey Sherman, do you still have that high compression m20? I'll buy it and that'll give you an excuse to come to 5erfest.

Yes I do, as a matter of fact.
5erFest is, I'm sure, a no do for me, but...
it can be in Little Rock on Sunday morning.
It's not quite half-way, but Memphis is close to that. Wanna make a quick road trip?

Thanks but no thanks. That's a long trip on short notice. I wonder how much Fed Ex would charge?

Not sure how to go about getting an estimate for that,
or even how to pack it.
I guess it could be palletized somehow.

There are some locals coming to O'Fest, but this is a tall request.

I'll ask around...
