This is my second 745i which is the only reason I am selling this car. It is the euro executive with all the cool power options and buffalo interior. I purchased it from the daughter of the original owner after he passed away, it had been in the States since 1986 and California since around 1988. It was all stock and came with some receipts that showed it had been well taken care of, it has about 178K miles. I've put alot of work into the car since I've had it I take care of and improve all my cars. Car has clear and current California title registered until July 2013 and smog was done less than a month ago so none is needed for transfer. The car was just painted so I am in the process of finishing putting stuff back on then gonna detail it then I will have better pictures and I'll take some vids too. All work and parts noted are new and installed within last 2000 miles. There's also some small stuff needing fixing that I noted below that I will try to take care of before sale. As always I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff so if you're serious you can come check it out and look thru the paperwork. Car will also come with spare parts and extras. Price is $4000 with the 15" MSW/OZ wheels. I also have other parts I can work a deal with buyer such as Bavauto front strut bar, Dinan sway bars, etc. I will also possibly consider a trade for a pre- '74 import car like a Datsun 510 or BMW 2002.
---Exterior
-Fresh paint, OE color, all mouldings and trim removed for paint. All new OE clips and grommets used for reinstall. New roundels. Door handle gaskets replaced. Window lower strips replaced.
-No federalized sidemarkers
-Euro headlights with Silverstar Ultra bulbs. LED driving lights in corner lights.
-Car had dent in right rear door which was pulled when painted.
-Car has euro bronze windows and sunroof. Sunroof does not work at the moment. It worked previously and motor still works but not moving. Also have new sunroof weatherstrip seals included but not installed, and a spare sunroof motor.
-Central locking works but driver side locks but not unlocks.
-All power windows work but just started having issue they don't get power when ignition is turned, looking into it now.
---Interior
-Water Buffalo Interior gray/black. Fading from sun, leather good with some wear on driver seat and small hole in butt area, cracked dash but covered with dash mat, rear headrests have loose stitching, new floor mats. Interior is not really worn, just old.
-Wood is still good some very slight cracking but not worn.
-Old School Nardi steering wheel and hub w/ BMW horn button
-New Ignition switch
-Gauge cluster gears replaced, all gauge functions and lights work, same with OBC.
-Rear sunshade does not work but I have replacement one not installed
-All power options work including reclining rear seats work fine except passenger front seat does not move front to back but motor works (I think it's just jammed), still has becker radio in rear.
-Good Sony/JVC stereo with new speakers, power antenna works
-HVAC has issues. When I first got it it worked fine, now it is intermittent. AC compressor kicked on previously but not cold. At least needs microswitch replaced at most also needs pods replaced.
-Original spare metric in trunk, complete tool kit
---Engine
-All belts, plugs, fluids, filters, battery, etc. replaced, synthetic in Engine.
-Alternator bushings replaced
-Coolant hoses, water pump, thermostat etc. replaced.
-Most vacuum lines replaced
-Most power steering lines replaced
-Fuel system and lines cleaned out, Walbro 255 external pump, new in tank pump, new fuel level sensor, fuel filter
-Tranny 4hp22zf serviced non synthetic fluid. Tranny sometimes slips going into third if car is cold, once warm no issues tranny shifts smooth, it's always done that, never any check lights. Differential fluid changed.
-Turbo replaced by PO
-New custom full 3" Magnaflow exhaust and catalytic converter from downpipe back, could use better tips but works.
---Suspension
-New pitman arms, idler arm, tie rods and center, etc.
-New Bavarian Autosport springs and Bilsteins, all strut mounts good
-Brakes and rotors are good at least 50% or more life left
-I have two sets of wheels: 17x8.5 AC Schnitzer or 15x7" OZ/MSW, both have good tires.
