Hey guys,
Searched. No find no answer.
I'm trying to update my profile to include a sig, avatar, etc. I go to my profile page, make the intended change (which can be as simple as changing my "location"), but when I click "submit" I get an error message stating "Sorry, but that e-mail address is already registered to a user."
When that occurs the email address, user name, and password already entered into the profile are the ones I currently use, and are correct.
So, in short, I can't update my profile.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks....

Right, got that part. I'm not trying to change the registration portion of my profile...it's the rest of the information I'm trying to change.
I just mention the user name, etc. so you understand that that part is correct, and I'm not changing it while attempting to change other info in my profile.
Does that make sense?

So to verify what you are doing-- start by clicking "Profile". Pretend to not even see "Registration Information" and scroll down to "Profile Information" and make your changes. Click "Submit". Do you still get an error?
The only time that error should show up is if you are putting information into "Registration Information" and entering a password. The box with the email address is auto-filled with your current address and the 3 boxes for password must be blank (entering data into them is required unless specified otherwise, i.e. not when you only wish to change your avatar). It appears that you are entering the current password into the first (current) box, which triggers the email address change, hence the already in use error because you are in fact not changing it for a new one.

Thanks, guys. I think I figured it out. So, for posterity's sake, here's what was going on:
1. I would open Firefox.
2. I'd go to myE28.com via a bookmark.
3. I'd already be logged in, b/c I had set that option in myE28.com.
4. I'd click on "Profile".
5. I'd change a field, say "Location".
6. I'd click submit, and get the error I described above. No change would be made to my profile.
I think what was happening is that I had asked Firefox to remember my password for this site. I guess when it saw the "Password" field on the Profile page, it auto-populated that field, which was causing the problem.
Deleting the password from the field solved the problem...
Thanks again!
