Why do some say "moved", while others don't?
When the Beamters twist knobs and throw levers to relocate a thread initially placed in the wrong category, why do some of these relocated threads say "Moved" in the thread where it was initially placed, while others don't?

Especially when one throws some fun at thread in the wrong place, and light is made of o.p.'s error. If "moved" isn't put there where the thread was relocated, takes away from the fun, doesn't it? I smell a party-pooper in the house...!demetk wrote:Agreed. Consistency is key to an orderly, well-balanced and harmonious society.

Ok, sure, but the original thread in this case was completely deleted from the original topic heading.
I guess I'm sensitive to what the mighty Beamters can do after one had fun at my expense by warping my words in another thread to make it look like I was saying something else. Yeah, I played along, I'm a fun guy and it would have been ultimately funny if the Beamter who played me came clean and we all laughed about it. I waited....But he didn't, so it's more like making me look like an ass using that magic wand a Beamter can wield - and hiding behind it. I take that as passive-aggressive behavior directed towards me, because, again, it was at my expense.
BUT, if a Beamter changed the words in question that I used before I typed them, my bad, I guess. I'm about positive this isn't the case, though. I proof-read my posts. I know some Beamters get a kick out of autocorrecting words to say things like "ass swell", and "heartage" (or something) ,for example, and so on, making a person's little error make them look stupid from the shadows, not head-on and in the open in light-hearted banter. It's just not right.

I don't know what thread you are referring to, so I don't know why the particular Beamter chose to not leave the shadow topic. As for the rest of the post, I have no idea what that is referring to either.Minotaur wrote:Ok, sure, but the original thread in this case was completely deleted from the original topic heading.
