Hi all,

I have started reproducing the e28 specific, M5 grille emblem which has long been NLA. The original part number is 51141919480.

The latest reproductions are now 3D printed in Nylon (PA12), with laser cut, mirror polished 304 stainless scripting. The tri-colour logo is a printed, permanent self adhesive which the manufacturer guarantees for colour and adhesion over 5 years of constant UV and weather exposure - should stand up to the car covers and garages just fine. The tabs on the rear are brass as original, albeit slightly thinner to allow for easier bending into place.




At this stage, please register your interest in this thread by adding your name and qty to the list and as I produce them I'll chronologically contact you to arrange payment, usually within 2-3 weeks or so pending how hectic the rest of my schedule has become..

UPDATE 9/9/21

Production run complete! I am about 3 emblems away from fulfilling the wait list, and will be pausing production on these for a short while. Thankyou all for you support and positive feedback, I do appreciate it greatly.

For those that missed out, rest assured that I will do another run in due course and will update this thread when that time happens. Record your interest either by replying to this thread, or via pm and I'll add you to the new wait list.

Hi all. I've had a bit of interest recently in doing another run of these emblems so as with the last run, please register your interest either in this thread or via PM and I'll add your name to the wait list.

There is sadly a small price increase of $5 for each emblem, due to increases across the board in shipping and raw materials.

The price for each emblem is now $90USD delivered worldwide and $75USD for each additional.

UPDATE 10/01/24

Final production has commenced on these. The latest reproductions are now 3D printed in Nylon (PA12) using MJF but I've kept the pricing the same as the previous batch. I have 25 total left, with about 10 spoken for at this stage - I'm not planning to perform another run in the future, so get one while you can!

I can, although with the original ones still available it's not high on my priority list. If for some reason I end up with a few left over M's, I'll let you know.

An update for you all - I’ve filled about half the orders for those on the list, but am now awaiting the arrival of some more brass to manufacture the mounting tabs. Supply chains aren’t what they used to be but I’ll be in touch soon.
