PDF of Bentley Serivce Manual?

Hello,
I recently bought a 1988 528e Manual and wanted to get the service manual for the car so that I may work on it when needed. Does anyone have a PDF of the Bentley service manual? It seems really expensive, even on eBay.

Welcome to our world.
Used ones, not PDF, pop up here on occasion reasonably priced.
Not sure what you consider "really expensive".
To me "really expensive" is a bill from a local mechanic.
Think of the savings. It'll pay for itself w/ first repair.
P.S.
Change the TB unless you've got documented proof it's been done recently, and even then an inspection may be in order.

To clarify, this means
timing
belt, not throttle body (or anything else).

Yes it exists. But you'll just have to find it yourself, if it's even still out there. Bentley seems to still want to protect it, copyright wise, even if they're not printing it anymore, so it's not as freely available as say some of the Haynes manuals. And with all due respect, someones first post looking for copyrighted material looks a little suspicious. Probably not, but it raises eyebrows.

The E30 Bentley is out there - don't know about the E28.
Be sure to get a copy of the Electrical Troubleshooting Manual at

They still show it available on the Bentley Publishers website.

I was able to do an inspection on it before taking a 6 hour road trip and it was in really good condition so I left it alone. Thanks for the tips.

I don't mean to look sus. I am a college student so I don't have the most money in the world so I was trying to look for a cheaper alternative. Its what I usually do for all my textbooks.

I just bought a brand new copy off Scamazon in June. The hardback is still in print. The softcover is out of print.

Check eBay, ask in the "For Sale/Wanted" section of this forum, join e28 groups on Fakebook, ask around. You can usually find a used copy for half the cost of a new one or less. If you plan to keep your E28, it's a book you need a copy of.

I may have been a little brusk, sorry, first post it just looked...
So, lets start over with what I usually try for new guys.

I'll hold off on making an autocorrect for "brusque" -- for now.

Ya know, I actually looked it up before I posted, I wasn't sure on the spelling. Looks like either is correct.

I'll try to get a post put up after this weekend after I wash it. It is pretty dusty since I live in a dusty place haha.

Eh, no worries about the cosmetics, although super clean stuff is always nice to see. But it's the enthusiasm that counts, not show cars.
