FUUUUDGE I missed it, AGAIN, because I wasn't paying attention...
Seriously, vintage BMW owners (or folks interested in capturing the attention of vintage BMW owners) need to get WAY, WAY better at social media and at community organizing. I follow the Saratoga Auto Museum on Instagram, and saw ZERO notifications of this event, one of the exceedingly few (if not the only) vintage-BMW events in the Northeast of the United States.
Also, check out this post:

Perhaps this is just the way it is, perhaps Saratoga is incredibly cliquey and it's the same 15 or 20 guys every year, who knows. Perhaps this is why at every "cars & coffee", every café meet, every event, every club, every drive, every anything, you'll find 80 Porsches, and only 10 BMWs (5 of which are lowered, tuned and customized to an inch of their life), and 10 of "all the rest".
Don't get me wrong, I'm not necessarily interested in becoming buddy-buddies with everyone and anyone that has an old BMW, but it's definitely nice to look at other people's cars, share project ideas or exchange intelligence in person, outside of the internets, exposed to the elements.
