Mike Burroughs from Stanceworks was a mye28 board member a long time ago. His latest exploit has been building a heavily modified Ferrari 308 with a turbocharged Honda K-series engine, and then taking it to the World Time Attack Challenge in Australia. He wasn't the fastest car there, but he wasn't last either. An interesting side point for me is he's using a Haltech engine management system, and I've been watching several YouTube channels from Australian car people who also work for or use Haltech equipment so it was fun to see him connect with those guys. It was a pretty epic journey for Mike, if you haven't seen his videos they're worth checking out. https://www.youtube.com/@stanceworks/videos

Kudos to him! I was definitely not a fan of his early stuff, but this is great.

I've followed the build since pretty early on, it's been a fantastic watch and the production quality has gone way up in the past few months.
I think it was a different person, but I watched a video tour of the Haltech production facilities - turns out they do all the manufacturing and testing in house and it was interesting to see their equipment setup (and wish I had the money for nicer toys).
Mike recently got an alpine e28 he's going to do something with, it's been in the background of a few videos
