Distributor Coil Wire

Is it possible to use a generic/universal distributor cap wire in lieu of the OEM wire? I'm not finding the wire sold individually. I'm not planning this as a long term solution, just need to get car started and moved. Any part # or MFG info is appreciated.

As a temp move, sure. Any high voltage ignition wire, preferably real wire not that graphite impregnated fiberglass crap, would work. Or could be made to work. Now IIRC there is kind of a pin in the cap that the terminal is supposed to go on, so you might have to slit the wire or something, and it emphatically would not be a good even short term solution, but just to start it and move it around? Sure. Also, a boot would be nice, however, again, IIRC, on all but 533s the diameter it would go over is a bit larger than the traditional standard size so it might be problematic.

I have several original wires with the boot. Happy to send your way for the cost of shipping. This assuming you're in the USA.
