Wow -- it sure looks sweet in that silky black. Now you just have to make the other black parts look as black!

Thanks, guys!:D
Nick C., No I will not be putting an M-Tech kit on. The only body-kit I will put on is a Zender rear skirt. I have not mounted it yet, because it looks so good without it! (@)
Shawn D., I have already painted most of the trim with SEM 39143. I like the contrast between the gloss and matte black. I do need to clean the wheel wells and such, though. The new paint makes everything else look reeeally dirty! :~

Thanks! I am partial to the french fogs, myself. I knew they would look good on a black car.
Well...
I have been working on this for a while now. About 5 mos. or so. I did some rust repair on the rear panel/valance, and mounted the euro bumpers. I then handed it over to a pro for the paint. The shop that did it is called Klein's Automotive. They do a lot of restoration-type work, and have a nice shop with a very nice paint booth. It was there for a month. I got it back last Thursday, and worked for 3 days straight to get it put back together. I will bring it back to the shop this Wednesday to fix a couple of spots that are unacceptable, and a final polish/glaze.
It's been a long road with lot's of work, but the results are nice.

Thanks, Todd. If I can drive it for 5 yrs w/o someone wrecking it, and if you're still making turbo kits, I'll be calling you for sure. Maybe sooner.

Your lady friend is a cutie, too.

Sweet pics, Pat! Congrats on a job well done! The pics look MAGNIFICENT. Tell your paint guy he did a great job.
What's that Diamondschwartz POS next to your car?!!!
. . . just kiddin' Kyle.
I'm lovin' the yellow fogs, too. In inclement weather, they're much more useable than the clear lenses on the standard fogs. A really nice touch is clear turn signals with yellow fogs. Someone in CA has an E28 like that, and it looks sweet! His car is dark, too, although I can't remember the exact color.
Once again, good job, Pat! Enjoy both of those hotties (the car and the gal)!!

Well, I THOUGHT my car looked OK, but Pat's car's new skin makes mine look woefully sub-standard!
The difference between a REAL paintjob and one that's just decent is HUGE! I bow down and kiss Pat's tires

Patrick,
BEAUTIFUL work and beautiful car! I want to get with you about how to do the euro bumper install correctly. Man, yours looks like a really nice, neat install so I'm all eyes and ears if you're coming to 5erFest. I know others here have done a nice job with their's too...and will be looking for pointers.
Best,
Tim
