I can't help with the photo right now, but I have a black M535 that I am going to put my E34 M5 wheels on with turbine covers that are painted black. I have the turbines and I don't think I'll be able to find any throwing star covers for reasonable $. I figure it will a) look real badass or b) look like ass.

I think it could look pretty neat. For some reason the stock silver turbine cover's mounted make me think that the damn thing is wearing a pair of cheap whitewalls. :D

it would look soooo mean. just make sure the two blacks don't clash (remember, i'm the guy who knows the difference between Kenneth Cole and Perry Ellis :D)

Some day I'm gonna paint a 5er "stealth bomber" flat black (think ducati dark) with black wheels and tint and shadowline.

Satin black with gloss black trim and gloss black wheels would look pretty friggen awesome IMO but, I'm to scared of f-ing my car to try it. ;)

Black wheels with polished are the BOMB on a black E28 or for that matter E24. I have a set of BBS RS 16x8, 16x9 - correct offset. Highly polished lips with black centers. I also have a set of the 17" M5 - forged wheels - silver lips black centers without TS covers. Both are 4-sale and will be listed soon.

Hey, here's a totally shameless plug...

I know this doesn't help much but I have some T-Stars I've completely refinished solid black (no covers) and they're for sale. I re-finished them to use them as a track set, but I've had a change of plans since my identity theft and now they're for sale. They've never been mounted since I refinished them. They look damn sexy. More info here. $875 plus shipping for the complete set to a forum member. I've listed them for a bit more on the roach.
