See sig pic or this link for a different view (with center caps).
The wheels are 16x8.5 front, 16x9.5 rear Hartge Design A wheels.
I got the car from my brother in law with the wheels, but no center caps. He liked them without the caps, I like them with.

These are mine but I haven't found 4 that I can afford yet. I like the Bling gold centers better. I kid, I kid!

There are a lot of nice wheels out there, but it's pretty hard to beat the Mille Miglias when you factor in their reasonable cost.

edited to add: Also, they are a LOT easier to clean than say, style 5's.

I like these: Image Original equipment on the 8 series. Forged (light) 16 x 7.5 ET15 and easy to clean. I think I was the only one at 5erFest with them on the car.

Those are my track wheels. Light is right! The look has grown on me, but I still like Style 42's better for everyday.

I'm currently running Style 4s (8x16) as is Tammer in Philly
Image

Personal favorite...currently on my e39 Sport
Image

Style 32s are also quite nice...on the e28 and e39
Image

Always liked these as well - Style 21
Image

There are two versions of the Style 42 wheel - "cross-spoke" and "bolted":

If you can't find these reasonably priced...check out the Rondell replicas... ~$600-700 new for 4.

Cheers,
Tim

If you want a good look at a wide variety of styles on the E28, go to Tire Rack's website http://www.tirerack.com and 'try on' the different wheels with the E28 template in the body color of your choice. They've even got red! :D

I whole heartedly agree with Tim in N FL on wheels.
Top 4 in my opinion:
1. Style 5's ~classy yet agressive and not too modern looking
2. M5 Throwing Stars ~Sporty, looks good on an e28. Not too modern.
3. Style 32's ~A tad modern on an e28, but nice minimalist and docile look. (if i were you, i'd get these)
4. Style ? ~16" wheel came on e38 740's. Affordable and easy to find. Don't stand out too much but have a classy stock look.

I saw a set of the MM Sport II's in gunmetal... looked interesting. How dark is the tint on that e28?

Sorry I couldn't find pics of E28's with these wheels. Wasn't this sort of thing the reason why we had a pictures gallery.
