Calgary just installed a glass floor on the outer rim of the calgary tower, pretty neat idea
Cool picture, not a very good place for someone with acrophobia. Some years ago I was in New York and went up to the observation deck in the World Trade Center; as I recall they had windows that tilted out slightly so you could more or less look straight down. I also went up to the top of the Chrysler building, and there you could actually open the windows and stick your head out. That was pretty wild.
I recently ran across the photos I took up there on top of the WTC, it was kind of creepy to look at them now...
Now I don't have a fear of heights in any way - but standing on glass hundreds of feet in the air is NOT my idea of a good time. No way in hell would I do that... with my luck some fat guy with lead shoes will come up right behind me.
