New 5er purchase M5 Stealth. All black!!!!!

Post by M5BB »

My name is Gary Beck and I live in Atl burbs.
I'm not on here very much as I just don't have the time.
I own a White 84 533i that's in pretty nice shape.
I've had it for 5 years now. It's in the 5er Fest Photo in NC and SC.
Patiently I've been watching for an M5.
I found one!!!
David Harrison's (Harrison Motosports) all BLACK
M5 was for sale.
It is now in my possession. :alright:
It will be at 5er Fest.
I now have the Ying & Yang of E-28's.
See you at the Choo-Choo!

Gary:

Congratulations on snagging David Harrison's M5 - that's a nice catch  I am a little familiar with that car - David had it for sale several years ago and I test drove it - very impressive! However, I had my heart set on a Porsche 911 and would up with one of those. It's now gone - I should have bought the M5. :bawl:

I understood that David wound up selling it to somebody else after I looked at it. I would be interested (and probably some other M5 fans here would be, as well) in some photos and detail on this fine machine. I invite you to go to the M5 section of the board and take a look at the "M5 Prices" thread. A number of us have posted some asking price/selling price information and other details about our M5s there. I hope you will do the same - it's a good source of market value information for these cars.

I will have my car at 5erFest and look forward to seeing you there. I am in Perry, about 100 miles south of you on I75. :haul:

M5 Purchase

Post by M5BB »

Hey guys,

I have some photos but no place to park them right now.
I'm really busy so give me a few days to get back to this.
Gray, I will post to that M5 price discussion soon.
Great to hear from you.

Congrats on the new purchase, Gary. David's M5 was the *first* e28 M5 I ever saw in person! Way back at shop 1 on Sun Valley Dr. Does it still have the Dead sticker on the tail?

-Matt (former Harrison Motorsports employee)
never drove the HMS M5
took the HMS 745i to 5er Fest 05 :alright:

Those are real e34 throwing star wheels.

God, I miss that car. I'm glad it went to a good home.

Very sexy! Not digging the shifter and ebrake, but to each his own.

At least those could be easily remedied if someone so desired.

Very nice indeed! What suspension do you have on there? The height is perfect!

I've posted on the M5 price discussion so if you want to know the details about the car and the price I paid, go to the M5/ M535 board and look at the discussion.
