Just got the Court Decision in the mail this evening. I thought I could have won some more points, but I'm actually pleased with the decision. The update is on page 3 of the thread.


The quick story: The NH Attorney General has lied about tragic shooting in Franconia, NH and she had the nerve to lie about it to a US Congressional candidate who forwarded the offending email to me. I have diligently pursued this case as a blogger and filed a Right-to-Know lawsuit in the same court where the same AG lost a Right-to-Know lawsuit exactly one year ago.

Some politicians don't appreciate my fervor but some...do.

In less than 24 hours am going to walk into City Hall's Aldermanic meeting and receive an honorary key to the City of Nashua, New Hampshire.

My DJ buddy told me 50-Cent got one last month for Bridgeport CT but for a broke-assed blogger to get one is a whole 'nother story. Coincidentlly I lived in Norwalk CT w/my sister and family for a while (and often went through Bridgeport) when I was under bogus indictment as NAACP legal chair but that's another story.

I know, call it foodgate, the $24.00 quid pro quo if you want, but that's not what's up:

What's up is His Honor (Bernard "Bernie" Streeter) knew me since I moved here in 2002 and watched me as a member of his Committee on Ethnic Awareness get appointed as NAACP legal chair and wind up on bogus extortion charges, then we watched me beat that down and later change First Amendment Policy at the local School Board after building a coalition of board members and Aldermen. Not the issue here so no links to that.

For those of you who didn't hear about the current case, or for those who "read" about it in Men's Journal the real story about why Liko Kenney (yes, Bode Miller's cousin but he has his own identity, thank you) shot Corporal Bruce McKay.... has not yet been told.

McKay and Gregory Floyd -- the man who shot Liko -- were not "heroes" by any means. I have it on Good Faith the McKay was a wife beater and I have it on direct evidence that there were a lot of very serious complaints about him and the use of OC Spray and even a "penis shaped knife" to a woman who holds a criminal justice degree and who was married to a police officer and who is a county trustee. Bruce was quite the bully. Watch the movie:

And Floyd was a 3 time felon including PCP and stealing a Virgin Mary Statue and in Franconia directly threatening the life of a school administrator for no good reason. They modified the school after that and put in panic buttons.

I have affidavits about ALL of this.

The government covered it up to villify Liko, who was wrongly accosted back in 2003 by McKay at the local park in a series of arrests that were ruled UNCONSTITUTIONAL by Judge Cyr. I have those decisions and the motions.

Anyway, those who are interested my read further here at the first ABC news story; now at this point the 20/20 guy who first emailed me doesn't "holler back" but he did ask me for documents no one else had, and I showed them to him. Will he run a story soon?

"People didn't trust Bruce McKay and they didn't like him. Heck I was afraid of him....These women, and others around town, described McKay as an overzealous cop who treated even minor infractions as major crimes. They said people complained about McKay to the local Selectmen and to the police department, but no one took any action."

That was from Connie McKenzie, who tried to save McKay's life at the end of her driveway told ABC and reiterated when she called me on her own; she flat out refused any memorial in his name.

As to coverage of the newly unearthed facts (or lack thereof except for the local press) I know the Truth about how media operates because I've been in it and my cousin is one of the biggest names in journalism and he can't afford to talk about what I do or his ass will encounter much turbulence.

It's very complicated folks, but well worth the struggle and the Mayor knows this. Other politicians and larger media are afraid to touch it.

It doesn't matter if you think Liko was a "dirt bag" (actual quote from an "impartial" investigating officer) he deserved not to be bullied by McKay and he deserved his day in court because in fact he did NOT run over McKay until AFTER Happy Boy Floyd shot and struck his car from across the street, as Floyd's own son admitted, and Floyd lied about talking to Liko before he shot right through Caleb's raised window as Liko sat in his car with his seatbelt on, now blinded by OC spray (given without a command or directive I might add) and wondering what the hell was going on.

A credit to open government he is, and Alderman Teeboom on the far right is pretty cool, too. He and I have worked together on some School Board First Amendment/Right-to-Know issues (we won and have more to go) and the look on his face is legitimate incredulity that Bernie actually did that 'cos it's a slam in the face to the AG's office on Liko's case.

I started off reading the first paragraph of the post, then the ABC News article to put the crime(s) in context. The rest just fell into place after following through the scattered web of blog postings to form a mental picture of everything. Took me a while, though!

Unfortunately it was at about 2am and only half my brain was functioning, so I only looked at maybe 1/2 the info. I will certainly be interested in keeping tabs on the situation and set a few bookmarks.

And we should care about all of this because....?????

You can rightly say it's tangential but there's certainly something there, especially given what both of our E28s had for bumper stickers/license plates, "Legalize Freedom" and "CIVL RTS"

I have. When McKay tags him with the OC Spray he just sits there, blankly. And as McKay did that with no command or directive whatsoever (in violation of policy) I'm sure Liko thought McKay was going to do him, so he did McKay first.

The Tclan vids at the top are misleading because they don't include what happened in the back of the cruiser so some of us from the Franconia Collective posted the FULL video that I had because as media I bought the whole media kit from the AG's office. Tclan is a total plant who works for the Union Leader, the most conservative paper in the East.

Keep in mind what that individual told me:

"I always thought they would find McKay dead by the side of the road, and if it weren't Liko Kenney it would have been somebody else."
That is unheralded. Never heard anything like that about another police officer in my life, and I have reported police beat for years and worked criminal defense and civil rights cases for years. The issue is that many people complained about McKay but nobody did anything. A man told me he told 20/20 Liko felt trapped. 20/20 has not run his statements or story yet.

The Tahoe is a lethal weapon and the OC Spray could have been lethal as well, and has been. Not everyone has the education and legal/reporting skills to fire the bullets I fire and McKay rode Liko hard for years and years, driving up on his parent's property at night, the whole nine yards. He was a big, imposing figure and you read already with Connie McKenzie said about him and she tried to save his life.

Liko did snap. But what brought him to that point? I told one officer about it and he said "you do that to me with no communication and I will shoot you again and again and again."

Liko shouldn't have to move. Bad Cops should be fired, and that's why we are pushing for Civilian Review Boards.

And again, if we agree to disagree on Liko's alleged vigilantism, we should be able to agree that Floyd had no authority to usurp the function of the trier of fact, given that he started shooting Liko before he ever struck McKay with the Supra, and then shot right through Caleb's window without a word to Liko (he lied about that) as Liko sat there, now blinded by OC Spray, in his driver's seat, with his seatbelt on.

You know, opinions being like..... noses. You smell something you don't like and you can move on. Other's might like a taste of it so they keep reading. That's the beauty of the First Amendment in America, and parallel statutes globally. 8)

Unfortunately, the First Amendment also exposes those like Dave and me who COULDN'T GIVE A FLYING DAMN about it to your fervent campaign for justice (or whatever it is). It makes absolutely no difference to us in either Wisconsin or California.

I wanted to be interested in something that showed up in my favorite online forum because I figure I might someday meet and get along with you because we happen to like E28s. But I did not, and I do not, plan to spend half a day reading your bloviations about a situation that has less effect on my life than the phases of the moon. The last time I heard stuff like this was when I was doing civil commitment defense work back in Akron, Ohio, and one of my clients sounded exactly like you do now. A bunch of name-dropping and righteous indignation over perceived violations of constitutional rights. Sadly, he was fuckin' nuts and the best thing I could do for him was to see that he got the best medications and treatment available. At the moment, I see no reason to believe you are significantly different.

This is not your forum; it is our forum. If you wish to remain here unmolested, you will find a way to become relevant to us and to our interests (which to your disappointment, will pretty much end at the borders of New Hampshire). Otherwise, you may as well shove it ...
