I have a IBM Thinkpad x21. It has no floppy or CDrom drive. It has a USB, Ethernet and 15 pin ports. The USB works fine. The Ethernet driver is missing.
I need commnuticate with my desktop so that I can load the ethernet file and some DLink software. How can I do this when I have no ability to load anything onto the laptop. All the devices I see for dommunication require software to be loaded.
Thanks,
Todd

You can use a USB memory stick, if you can borrow or buy one.

If you can run Windows XP Pro on it, that's the way to go, no drivers needed for ethernet.
