So, what should I name my engine........or should I?

I am thinking of the following names, you are more than welcome to offer up more -

Black Magic

Onyx Power

Stupid Fast Power Plant...............

I need one stinking fitting and then the engine can go back in. After some eye balling and a rough measurement, it looks like I can get the heat exchangers to mount just above the oil cooler and in front of the lower part of the radiator. My plan is to have just a couple of hoses in the engine compartment, the fluid tank, pump and HEs will be located in the front valance.

Oh, no. I will never give her all she has with my Frau in the car. She never felt the full power of the NA engine, no way in hell with the turbo motor.

Well, it's looks LARGE, could be a SPACE INTO WHICH YOU POUR MONEY. It looks good, are you sure you want to dirty it up in a car? Hell, have some plate glass cut to sit on top and make it into a bar.

I don't think you should name the engine, IMO you should be thinking about what to name your M535i.

How about

Turbonator
P-Kill'r
M5-Kill'r

Something that personifies what you're trying to achieve.

How about, you never name it...it's a stretch for me, being a "newbie" as far as this forum goes, but I would surmise that the work that has gone into the engine will eventually speak for itself, and that's the best name anyone could ever come up with.

But hey, I'll speak up when I've got something stronger than a US spec M30... ~0 :D

Engines and other tools of manhood should not be named. Naming is an open admission of inadequacy.

Tony,
You have a very good point...words to live by :)
In the meantime....Duke if you decide to name it consider:

The "mTCD_v.xxx" (the v. stands for version
m69 (don't ask why...just a thought I had when thinking about the service demands)
The Mach 5 (for obvious reasons...)
The GRX (the worlds most powerful engine in the Speed Racer series...caused drivers to
lose consciousness and crash because it was so FAST)

Cheers,
Tim
