hiatus sale..............................

Post by canyoncarver »

With impending changes ahead, its time to clear the garage of parts that some of you might find of use……………………

JB Aluminum Flywheel for M30. SOLD..!!

M20 single mass flywheel with clutch disc and pressure plate. Great condition with lots of useable miles, but I’d resurface the flywheel just for efficiency. Perfect for you guys with those boat anchor dual mass units. $150 delivered in the lower 48.

Hartge exhaust heat shield for ABS equipped e28s. Purchased some time back from another board member, it was never installed. This is a genuinely rare and period correct addition to your fiver. This item covers the ABS lines and prevents boiling the brake fluid with aftermarket headers. Unfortunately it won’t fit with the new power plant………..
$125 shipped in the lower 48……………………

M20, 200 series head eta head. This has been pressure checked, surfaced, new guides, seals installed, fresh valve job. Ready to install on your 325/528e. I no longer have any “eta’s”……it’s a shame to see this gather dust.
$250 plus shipping to your zip,……………this is less than the machine shop total for the work performed.

M30, B34 ….BARE… head casting. Stripped and pressure tested pending porting and oversized valves………….never got to it. It’s a know to be good head, no leaks and no warpage……..
$45 plus shipping.

008DME for 533/633/733. non-chippable
$45 shipped lower 48

B35 intake manifolds, SOLD!

B35 oil filter housings $45 shipped, lower 48

^^ Funny, I pm'd you about two of those items, you said you had them all, emailed you "$$?" to find out how much to send you (w/shipping), and then they are sold.
Somehow, I don't think that I'm waiting for an invoice.

adam, i still have the other items you inquired about. as for the h1/h4s, several members showed interest, and i actually recieved payment from more than one member. the member who posted paypal first is recieving the headlights, those others have been refunded their paypal fees.
if you are still interested in those other two items, please let me know and i'll get you a total today.

once again my apologies to you and any other board member who may be upset.

Jim:

I have to comment, having seen Adam's message, because his sentiments are similar to mine. While I appreciate, and acknowledge, that you refunded my payment, I have to say that I feel as if I was not treated in a "stand up" fashion. I sent you a message yesterday, in the morning, explaining clearly that I could not access Paypal nor view pictures at the office, but that I would take the lights, subject to me being able to log in at home and see a photo, which I did, and then I sent you the money yesterday evening, as I said I would.

While you are free to do business with whom you choose, I can't help but think that you simply sent the lights to whomever emailed / paypalled you the money most quickly, irrespective of the timing of the messages that you initially received. While that is your right, it is not how I do business, and at the very least, if I were in your shoes, I would have sent the other person a message explaining that you wanted money in hand, so to speak, immediately in order to claim the lights. I certainly provided you with all my contact information for such purposes. As I said, I am disappointed in how this was handled, and, again, seeing Adam's message, I see that I am not the only one. Perhaps the fact that the two of us report the same thing should alert you to the fact that you need to improve your communication skills, at the very least.

Regards,
Ray

Guys,

Jim's got some health issues and while I can understand the frustrations, he's probably not able to take care of things right now.

Over the years, Jim's come through for me more times than I care to admit so if there's anything I can do to help him out, let me know. I may have what you're looking for.

I appreciate what you are saying and I wish him well. But did he take the money for the goods? If he did, people are out their hard earned money and they have received nothing in return. And these people are not at fault for his health issues.

If you take people's money, you need to deliver. If you can't, then you need to return the money. At the very least, some communication would be in order to tell people where things stand.

Interested in the Hartge exhaust heat shield. Still for sale?

If health issues preclude a response then best wishes in overcoming your ailment.

If money's been recieved and goods have not been produced, then a "calling on the carpet" is in order. All I was attempting to do was inform as to why communications have ceased.
