Justin I am jealous. I am going to have these bumpers powder coated but man those bumpers you have sure look nice. I work with a guy who has a machine shop and I am thinking of designing a U.S. to Euro front bumper mount. There are a lot of good designs out there but I think I can take it up a notch and allow some fine adjustments for best fit and it will will be a complete bolt on.Thanks guys I have been preoccupied as of late but things are getting better again.
Johnny, my little South African friends are brand new. I guess they haven't made them in Germany for a number of years. It seems impossible to find good used stuff, even a few years ago, so Brian "hooked me up" on the bumper kit. I couldn't afford new ones now, though!
As far as the brackets, Brian included the mounting and bolt kits when I bought them, but these things have only seen the light of day twice in my possession. Keep us posted if you fab up something to make the job easier. The rear is bolt up with the factory brackets and it is just the fronts where you have to be a little creative, IIRC.

Special thanks to Kyle,Greg Flint and Ben Wardlow for lending me a hand last weekend with the M5. Suspension is done , just need to get the Alpina wheels refinished . Greg was generous in offering the use of his extra E39 wheels so we could take it for a spin. Sincere thanks guys

Selling U.S. airdam
Are you selling the lower front U.S. bumper (the airdam) and if yes, what price are you thinking, condition, etc.? Mine's cracked and I was considering either fixing or replacing.
Also, conversion looks like its coming along nicely! Did you find it hard to get all the necessary parts, and where'd you source them from?

All the U.S. parts are For sale. A fellow board member in Germany supplied the parts for the Euro conversion.Scotts wrote:Are you selling the lower front U.S. bumper (the airdam) and if yes, what price are you thinking, condition, etc.?
