Email Stuck in Outbox

I have notice some emails seem to get stuck in the Outbox while others go to the Sent Box quickly. I have one in the Outbox now that I attempted to send yesterday and I just deleted one that was in the Outbox for over a month.

Please explain? Am I doing something incorrect?

Apparently, you haven't read through the Forum FAQ section, particularly Why Are There Private Messages Stuck In My "Outbox"

Thanks for the help. I searched the FAQ but did no go back to 2008 and the search text I used did not pick this one out. I saw other that seem to give the same explaination but wanted confirmation.
