Establish another topic area in this forum for the political nut jobs to banter back and forth all day long.

It's fucking ridiculous that this has not already been done.

It takes about 5 minutes to do it. WTF is the problem.

DO IT, PLEASE.

Yea, cause 14 subforums isn't quite enough.

If people would just listen to me and not post or respond to the political bullshit, this wouldn't be a "problem" at all. I have little interest in trying to maintain order in a cesspool. You obviously can't resist the urge to respond anyway, what's moving it to a different section going to accomplish?

Go WTF yourself if you think it's so easy. How's your forum doing?

Why would it need moderation? Let them insult themselves to death. Why are you such a stubburn ******** anyway?

And the dig at the TCD forum? Kinda childish don't you think?

Common sense is not your greatest asset.

Ah, so now we should be more like Bimmerforums? Yes, genius.

PS - You insult me and then expect me not to take offense? Talk about a lack of common sense.

Look a little further. There are more off topic posts than in any other section.

It's refreshing to read threads everywhere else and never come across poitical wars. It's not allowed.

If you're watching television and you don't like what's playing what do you do? Just sit there and continue watching although you can't stand the program? No, you grab the remote and change the channel.

Understandably, not all of us enjoy political or religious discourse. Most feel uncomfortable because they don't understand and become uncomfortable. If this is the case, change the channel. No one is sitting there at your computer making you read every post in every thread. At least I don't think so...

General Conversation is for general conversation.

Well, in this case it's off topic. General conversation usually would be deemed to have BMW or at least some Automotive content.

A poilitcal/religous category would give the ideal place for all the hardcore people to duke it out.

I am sick of seeing threads shit on constantly.

From the Index:
General conversations about BMW E28s and the people who own them.
Of course, there are lots of threads that don't hold fast to this subtitle.

Personally, I understand the desire for a politics/smackdown subforum, and I also understand the unwillingness of the Beamters to not make one available. How about a compromise where all threads that are either inherently political or unfortunately degrade to a knuckle-dragging slamfest be labeled as such? That way folks that want no part in it can read about lillys and sunshine and farts instead.

What if I just hang my balls out in the open every hour on the hour? That would be quality family programming!

And personally, I'd rather have that than some of the threads currently active on this board.

So why not have a separate forum for politics? It not make no cents.

I agree that it'd be nice to filter the political threads out of the general conversation, but if you create one sub-forum, then you've opened yourself up to create sub-forums for every off topic subject.

HA! Then there's room for three more.

I kid, I kid. I know that you can see things I can't. SEE! Someone could post something for sale in those subforums and I wouldn't be able to buy it!

Last time I checked... um, if you don't like a forum topic... don't click on it. If you do, read it, and decide you don't like it... there is this wonderful thing called A BACK BUTTON, as shown below:

Common sense people. A forum for all the political whack jobs and righteous preachers would be awesome!

I hold to my statement. If people who agree with Art Bell wanna post on mye28, they need to do so in GC. I have a choice whether I wanna read it or not. :D
