Rare set of 4 used Style 4 BMW 16" wheels and tires.
Wheels are in great condition, one wheel has a tiny length (~2.0") of curb rash, easily removed.
Original equipment on E38 750il.
The tires are Continental 235 x 60 x R16 100H, they still have a few miles left on them, basically selling the wheels and throwing in the tires.
I expect the shipping will be in the $125 - $150 range, I'll give the buyer the option of having me remove the tires and save on shipping.
Local pickup is welcome and encouraged.
These are very elegant looking wheels that will look great on your bimmer.
I know the fit the following bimmers, but was told the may fit the E28 with spacers as well:
1995 - 2001 BMW 750iL 4DR (E38)
Style 4 / Multi-Spoke / Long "Alpina Style" spokes / 8Jx16
1995 - 2001 BMW 740iL 4DR (E38)
Style 4 / Multi-Spoke / Long "Alpina Style" spokes / 8Jx16
1995 - 2001 BMW 740i 4DR (E38)
Style 4 / Multi-Spoke / Long "Alpina Style" spokes / 8Jx16
I can email photos, serious inquiries only.
$500, Paypal preferred.
Thanks for looking,

They're not Alpinas.
If you sell them here, expect to remove the tires.
Also, a small spacer might be necessary for these to fit on the front of an E28 or E24 depending on the tire chosen. I think the BFGoodrich G-Force Sport is an excellent choice for these in 225/50/16.
Good luck with the sale. Your price sounds very fair, given your description.
You should post photos in your thread. If you don't know how, there's a sticky on the subject in the Eye Candy section.
Hopefully you'll stick around to do more than just sell your wheels. Welcome to MyE28.com!

In the effort of transparency I suggested the seller post the wheels here – and no, he likely won’t stick around, but I will allow him to speak for himself. The wheels struck me as very nice, but the advert I saw stated cash only hence my suggestion to the seller to post here rather than simply listing a ‘n/a’ post. Out of sheer curiosity I have never heard mention of them requiring a spacer. Is that requirement commonplace for style 4s?
16x8 ET23 - same as E38 style 5s. Depending on a tire, a spacer might be necessary to clear the front strut tubes on the E28/E24.option00002 wrote:Out of sheer curiosity I have never heard mention of them requiring a spacer. Is that requirement commonplace for style 4s?
The G-Force Sport works great, though.
Style 4 wheels
Just looking to sell the wheels, recently upgraded the wheels on my 2001/740iL.
Thanks,
