Wheel question
Wheel reads on back
RG099
1x15
16X7JJET
I would like to buy them but seller says they are from a lexus and he wants to get rid of them ASAP? I want to say they are bmw but I need some help to confirm that. I would like to buy them for my 84 528e. Also, would they be a straight fit or do I need rings for them? You help will be appreciated.

Re: Wheel question
Did you confirm that with a pic, or is that the seller's interpretation of what it reads on the back?beemerfan wrote:Wheel reads on back

Re: Wheel question
You can want to say that all you want, but that won't make it true. They came off of a Lexus or Toyota and will not fit your car.beemerfan wrote:I want to say they are bmw
Wheel question,
To me they look Style 5, unless I am wrong. I am not an expert on wheels, so I will appreciate all your help in order to find out what kind of wheels are these.

Wheel question,
Here is the deal, I just spoke to the seller and he is not 100% sure if they came off a lexus or a bmw, so the question still there. Are they bmw or not? What do you guys recommend?

God fucking damnit. DO NOT EVER SEND ME ANOTHER E-MAIL ASKING FOR MY ASSISTANCE. I WILL NEVER EVER ANSWER ANOTHER ONE OF YOUR QUESTIONS.
I ANSWERED YOUR QUESTION AND THEN APPARENTLY IT WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU.
After all the insults you have hurled in my direction in the past, you're fucking lucky I even bothered to reply the last few times you've asked questions.
I have ZERO tolerance for people that want me to spoon-feed them information and then ask other people.
Also, how the hell do you think these people could help you if you didn't give them all the info you sent me 40 minutes before you posted this thread?

I know you are the expert on wheels and that is why I came back to ask you a question regarding these rims

Will the fit my 535i?
These are the measurements that the owner emailed me of the wheels:
Offset 50mm
Hub 60mm
Rim 16x7
Bolt 114.3
and the back of the rim reads RG099
1x15
16x7JJET. Please let me know as I am considering in buying them. Thank you.

Wow, what a peckerhead. I've just added another entry to the "List of people not worth your time to advise" thread.wkohler wrote:God fucking damnit. DO NOT EVER SEND ME ANOTHER E-MAIL ASKING FOR MY ASSISTANCE. I WILL NEVER EVER ANSWER ANOTHER ONE OF YOUR QUESTIONS.

To the OP: Forest fires spread very quickly. I think you've burned up all your credibility. From here on out, you're on your own because no one I know who knows the answers to your repetitive, second-guessing questions will tolerate that. Certainly, I won't, any more than Chris will.wkohler wrote:God fucking damnit. DO NOT EVER SEND ME ANOTHER E-MAIL ASKING FOR MY ASSISTANCE. I WILL NEVER EVER ANSWER ANOTHER ONE OF YOUR QUESTIONS.

I would almost guess that you have never even seen an E28 wheel, much less taken even the slightest glance at the specifications for one. You are a fucking idiot. Go ahead and buy those wheels. They kinda' look like they might fit.beemerfan wrote: Will the fit my 535i?

Wait! I think I found a compromise that can please everyone here...
Let's call Rohan in to bore out the wheels so they'll fit the BMW. It's been a while, but I believe Runningpanda said he had a good track record and therefore was comfortable with letting him bore out the differential in his E28.
I think this is a win-win situation, fellas.

Definitely a great idea! If they break, he'll fix them with tape. I think you're onto something, Josh.JoshInAtlanta wrote:Wait! I think I found a compromise that can please everyone here...

Hey Chris,
I sent the question to the tech talk because when I sent you the email the power went off on my building, assuming that that you did not get the info I resourced to the forum. Thank you.

I don't know if electricity works differently in California, but here in Arizona it powers the same computers that are used to view and post on forums as it does the computers that view and reply to email. We have that dual-option forum/email electricity here. To stave off future misunderstandings you might want to check to see if it's available over there.beemerfan wrote:Hey Chris,
