rear e28 coilovers with Bilstein HD

today finally I found some time to switch the rear springs , 'Pink' code Bielstein OE match , with some cheapish coil over set up that I had laying around for some time
the reason I am doing this is very simple ! after I removed so much weight from my car , the rear end jumped up 3" so now instead cutting the almost brand new OE springs I tried to go the coil over way . but since the after market ones I have seen for our e28s are so high $$ , I just went and bought some fleebay pieces and tried to fitt'em myself , so here you go
the steps inside the cylinder were the perfect fit over the Billy HDs
all the pieces from the puzzle
the size difference between the OE ones and the fleebay ones
it is so easy to put them together , no need of a spring compressor either .
I think this set up is perfect cause you can chose the hight by switching the ring to a different groove and the rate of the spring by tightening the culler nut . I think with the Billy sport would be even better , but ... I have HD so ...
they fit just fine
now I just have to either put some more weight in the rear or get the 10" ones , cause the car dropped only an inch !
I am sure this set up would be better in a stock car but my isn't any more so this is gonna be done all over again once l get some sorter ones
the 'Pink' OE BMW springs will be in the FS section
