E28 on 20's

Post by cawb352 »

What do you guys think?
20's on my E28 no suspension mods, no spacers, bolted right on. And the best part, picked them up used a year or so ago for another project and putting them on was a joke. Well, they're on there now, and rolling.

I mean, they aren't chrome bling bling, but 20's do not belong on certain cars, such as the e28.

I think they would look good as an 18 or 19" setup on a newer 6 series.

I don't know that I've seen an uglier or more inappropriate set of wheels on a car.

The Corvette wheels pictured yesterday look better with the Chevy logos still attached to them.

You managed to make the e28 look like a donked Caprice.

If that's stock suspension I'm willing to be that you're going to SLAM that quarter panel when you go over the first speed bump.

based on the angle of the car, looks like the wheels are installed only on the passenger side.

I truly never thought anyone would have the lapse in judgement to try such a terrible idea...

Indeed they were. Test fit. Rolled the quater lips and fit fine. Probly woulda fit better if they weren't 10.5 rear wheels.

And you wont scare me off that easily. I asked opinions got a few both ways. I am usually first to say no to big rims on anything other than a truck or impala or other american big body but i find they appeal to me on my car. I was curious as to what others thought.

Its the same type of reactions i expect when i finish rounding up components for the 5.3 vortech swap.

Might as well paint it candy red and get a matching interior with fuzzy carpets. Oh, and don't forget the hoes. Can't have 20's without the bitchez, playa!

Nice ghetto donk. Now you just need to complete the look with some stick-on portholes from Pep-Boys and it'll be totally baller!
