The fuses

Post by AllenBalistreri »

I have noticed that some of the fuses are loose and cause intermittent problems with the lights, wipers, and dash. I have tried to clean and tighten the fuse contacts, but the problem persists. What are the advantages and disadvantages of doing this? What are the steps and tools required to do this? Has anyone done this successfully and can share their experience and tips?

I'll second the Holy Grail board suggestion. The torpedo fuses suck and if they've been hot enough to melt the plastic so the holders are loose, you will NEVER have a good connection again.
