It is Bronzit with a beige interior. It is also a California car that has never been wrecked. It still has the original paint. The body of the vehicle is rust free except for the battery tray, which is pictured below.
I bought this care as a project car in about 2013 in Sacramento, California after a one-year search. Up to this point, the car had spent its entire life in Northern California. It ran when I bought it needing a new muffler and windshield at the time. It is in very original condition.
At this point, it needs the kidney grille and trunk lock. I accidentally “sold” the grille earlier in the year with some euro headlights. It needs a new trunk lock because I had to break it in order to get into the trunk.
The engine is intact but is not getting spark. It could be some bad sensors or fuse box and does not run. The car has a five-speed manual transmission. It has close to 240,000 California miles on it.
I am in Central California, midway between Southern and Northern California.
Original E28s are becoming increasingly rare.
