Yep, I believe they are interchangeable for most applications, the chips are soldered on an 011 for example, but removable on an 061.

Thanks.. I have an early 007 ecu without a removable chip. I wanted to use the chip I have with the 027 ecu. But wasn’t sure if a swap is that simple. I’m going to search the tech forum and get back to you.

looking for an 008 ECU with a removable chip.Some of the ECUs have this and some don't. The only way to tell is to open the box and see
