thinking of getting into one of these for my 535i, does anyone have any experience with this product?

Hi, I put one of those things in my car.

Pros:
- The gas pedal feels way more responsive.
- The engine sounds way better.
- I got 209 horsepower on the dyno (with a Euro M30B34).
- They answered my emails quickly and helped me out.

Cons:
- It was hard to get it all set up.
- I had to make some small changes, like extending the linkages.
- I had to upgrade some parts, like the fuel rail.
- There weren't any instructions or anything, so I had to figure it out on my own.

Thanks for sharing! What I've seen is that for the RHD ones you need a standalone ecu to get it to work properly. Did you need one for the Dbilas?

It needs programming or stand-alone ECU. In RHD you do not need to relocate radiator expansion box.

More I experience, more I want to return to orijinal.

Unfortunately, cold settings and warm settings are not the same.

When the vehicle was hot, the accelerator pedal felt like it was jamming. I prevented this by extending the linkage arms.
However, when the IAT increased at a time, the idle speed started to increase.
A similar problem occurred in very cold weather in winter.

Although the suction sound was excellent and the throttle response was much improved, the pleasure of stable riding decreased.
In my opinion, the expense and power gain obtained are not worth the pleasure gained.

I will return to the original manifold and throttle within the week.

Wait... which ECU did you use? If you used the stock one, and if so - what are the last 3 digits of your Bosch ECU?

Every ITB project I have read about mentions a stand-alone ECU as a must, and as one of the more challenging parts of the process. Perhaps your issues with intake air temperature could be programmable with a stand-alone? Just a thought. I don't know how much control or input over intake air temp can be had when working with programmable ECUs

I used EcuMaster Classic.

Below statement from Dbilas and this is why I said It needs programming or stand-alone ECU
After the conversion, the engine electronics must be adjusted! This is not included in the price.

I have below items in my 10:1 CR Euro M30B34 engine
284 Schrick Cam
Stainless Valves with double-string
Lightweight Aluminum Flywheel
Plug on Coils
Whole new wiring with EcuMaster Classic
etc.

well, in addition to the ITB's I see you have other interesting upgrades. Seems to me like it would be beneficial if you looked for help with your stand-alone engine management.

I find the idea of ITB's very interesting (specifically the kit from RHD) but the stand-alone ECU programming is what gives me pause.
