INJECTORS M30b34

Post by Notae30 »

so i have a chip to fatten my fuel map and pull igntion now. i want to run 9-11 psi out if a tial mvs 38mm external wastegate. Now the question is will 24 pound injectors be fine? ive heard them be used but would like a part number because cant find them myself. and dont want to purchase the wrong item. Can i go to 30# injectors also would love a part number for this if anybody has suggestions if i can. or what would be the right size to run? for 11 psi max.

You will need some way to control bigger injectors. I would suggest 24# with RRFPR such as BEGI 2025, though I don't know if those are still made...

Enrichment can be handled in different ways. If you're using a rising rate regulator, software changes for fuel will be minimal and the AFM should be in a blow through configuration. 24# would work with the rising rate regulator. If you're going to retune for it, you will need a draw through setup and much larger injectors. 24lb/hr is not nearly enough. 30# is a minimum and will handle low boost.

I used to run the RRFPR and a blow through AFM back in about 2007. I don't think you can find the BEGI regulators anymore, I looked around recently and they are very scarce.

If your chip pulls enough timing it might work out. Tuning like this with Motronic pretty much sucks and although it is possible and has been done it is not a way I would try to go considering the options we have these days.

Any EV1 24# will work, I got them from my brother and do not know part number.

But in a quick search, I think they were these mustang injectors
Bosch PN: 0280150947
Flow Rate: 24lb/hr @ 43.5psi
Resistance: 14.5 ohm
Connector: minitimer | EV1
Nozzle Type: 4 Hole
