1981 M535i

I need to do a little restoration of the dash woodwork on my e12 M535i. The parts don't seem available. Does anyone know for sure what type of wood this is. It looks like mahogany, but if I need to do a little veneer work I'd like to know for sure before I do it. Thanks, Mark

Mark, I would post this question on firstfives. You'll have better luck since many E12 owners have faced the same problem.
