Shawn's a friend but told me many years ago that it would be a year or more before he made any.

I made my own. You guys at The Vintage probably thought Shawn made it.

Takes time but not extremely difficult. Not exactly the same but close.

Didn't need the switch.

So why not get this:
http://www.jegs.com/i/Auto-Meter/105/22 ... tId=745207
(or similar) and these parts (as needed):
http://home.mindspring.com/~scrappycrow ... tnums.html

Then follow these directions (Thanks Shawn D.):
http://home.mindspring.com/~scrappycrow ... ation.html

And DIY the whole she-bang...??

That'll be far too thin. The gauges won't clear the AC blower.

Uh oh- post made it down on page 5... Anything potentially coming of this or should we seek alternative means?

Thanks!

It's official. Shawn and I will be working together to bring back his gauge panel. They will be released in order of the original waiting list, then to the rest of you guys. Both he and I are super busy at the moment and we do not anticipate being able to start the project till June, so please no PMs or emails (don't call us, we'll call you.) Posting your interest in this thread will help us figure out how many we should anticipate producing right off the bat.

Thanks for your interest!

I haven't got the list, but at some point (probably after Vintage) Shawn and I will come up with a plan of attack. We'll just need to know how many to make for now and then we'll work on order of distribution.

I'd be interested in one. I'm assuming the LHD one could just be flipped over and fit the same way? Would a nice addition.

I'm not familiar with the arrangement of the dash, so I'd have to have an E23 to inspect and a grille (or whatever console piece) to experiment with.

Is your console grille the same as the RHD ones fitted to US cars? If so, yes, as the grille is non-directional and for this purpose is symmetrical (cig lighter & ashtray position aside).
