Well, I don't think I'll be bringing a sufficiently old car to do the rally. Anybody need a co-driver?

Who all is getting there on Thursday night? I kind of want to do the "The Rockford Run." (There was no time listed on the website, I assume that it is early in the day?). Anyone else doing the Rockford Run? I am trying to decide whether or not to get a hotel for Thursday night or drive up Friday morning.

Liver warm up to commence upon arrival Thursday.
Wife is an excellent baker. Should I have her make some magic?

Depending on our route, yet to be decided, we may roll through Chattanooga.
Our 2010 route took us that way, but not 2011.

I am now registered and seeking accomodations near Hawthorne/Old Salem. I see "Jeff" Retro-Rust at Holiday Inn Express for Fri and Sat.

Where are others who haven't been able to get in the Hawthorne/Shaffner/Brookstown staying this year?

I just realized that I have to prep two cars for The Vintage this year. Heinz still needs the in tank pump (backordered from Tisher, thinking about just ordering one from BluntTech and wishing I had originally) and then I'll have to figure out if he needs anything else. But in case that doesn't come together I need Bella prepped too, which just involves and oil change and perhaps new rear brake pads.

Either way both cars need detailing, although Heinz's interior is ready to go. Anyone else getting that pre-vacation stress feeling yet? Plus other parts of my life are really busy right now too. Busy is good though!

I'm Trying to decide if I should attempt a first trip in my 528. I have not driven it since last year.

Or should I take my bike? It needs a couple things And should be easy to take care of beforehand, but I have never done a trip so far from home by two wheels. The trip is about 7x as far as I have ever been on it.

The S50 is in and running nicely. Waiting on some new rear shock mounts now. I was hoping I could wait until I
met with Paul for some Mooseheads, but took things apart to see how bad they were and discovered:

Finally officially registered last week or so. Reservation at the Hawthorne. Final preps with the 88 almost complete. Just a little more shadowlining and a good cleanup. Then buying a cooler and some select beverages.

See you freaks there!
