Walking distance.alijonny wrote:Hey, I have an important question. How far is the Hawthorne from the actual show grounds?
750 miles...one way...a guy would have to be half off his rocker...

Yes, I don't have time to take the control arms off, take them to work, and press out the rubber bushings. They're going to happen, but not when I have the constraint of a deadline. I would have liked to get to them last week, but I got lazy till today.mooseheadm5 wrote:Was there an issue?Cactus wrote:I'm giving up on the Moosehead UCAB's for the time being

Yeah man, what the heck. I've been busting it hard to get those Mtech springs/shocks on so you could see them at the show. Actually, not really giving you a guilt trip, but I was hoping to see you there...Brian in TN wrote:What? Dude that sucks. Was hoping to see u and the ride.L_N_Love wrote:I will not be there either. Deck spoiler? If so I want dibs. Still needing something for Das Boot.bbaxter wrote:I have the original black hard rubber spoiler off my 533i that I want to get rid of. It is not in really great shape but it is free if anyone is coming to Vintage and wants it for their car. Let me know ahead of time and I will bring it.

Well the weather looks good in Winston-Salem save for the PM T-Storms on Thursday. I had the worst weather on my drive down last year and the older style headlights didn't help much. I was actually really freaked out. I'm hoping to not have to go through that again this year. But doing the drive much earlier in the day should help. Start putting those cars back together boys, its almost time.
Thanks guys! I got it worked out. I am driving down early on Saturday and will be staying next door at the Brookstown.Retro Rust wrote:Yeah man, what the heck. See you buttheads at the show. Somebody please save me a slot on the Old Salem Strausse to park the M5 or I will be parking with the spectators.

There's always those rogue storms but spring showers have washed away all the pollen here and about. I see clear sailing for the show. Same as it ever was. . .rmiddendorf wrote:Well the weather looks good in Winston-Salem save for the PM T-Storms on Thursday. I hope you're right, because I'm preparing to two-wheel it.oldskool wrote:There's always those rogue storms but spring showers have washed away all the pollen here and about. I figure either way I go, I'm going to bitch after I get there. It's either going to be:
"Damnit, I should have brought the bike. That wasn't so bad."
Or
"Damnit wtf was I thinking? Now I have to get home on this bike."
I dont even know anymore. I just don't care. After the mysterious disappearance of the title for my 65 beetle project, I just popped a fuse. I need to get away.
