It's not really important in any way, but interesting to see the similarities and differences.

Out of that top 20, I think I've met about 13 (including myself). I'll have to work on that. I've really got to get out to some west coast events at some point.

Ho-lee carp; I made the top 20. And I still feel like a noob (and probably sound like one most of the time too.)

Wait; was it really three years ago that I signed up?

Interesting to note that Chris Kohler isn't on the first list. I wonder how many on that list changed their handles since then.

IIRC, I was probably somewhere around 20-22 at that time. Also, those numbers didn't include all of their posts. If you clicked on their profile, then show all posts, Shawn had more than twice that.

-SEB got banned
-Wiseguy disappeared
-DRP535 didn't come around much
-robeyff disappeared
-BKCowGod3 sold his car to SEB and swore to stick around but disappeared probably because he never got paid in full for the car
-M635CSi is still around, but only in PM form
-BAVARIANUT doesn't come around anymore
-Duke sold his M535ti, so now he's just Duke.

I remember when I hit 4000 or something, they put a "Resident Post Whore" thingy on top of my username. C.R. and Tim in N FL had one for a while already. Then one day, it went away.

I'm proud to say I come in as #26 post whore. Not bad for joining around the time the original thread originated.

Yeah, it omitted the first few years of Mye28, both the pre registration and the first gen registration versions. Good thing or else I'd be a lot worse. Interesting that 4 of us in the top 10 no longer have an E28. Hmmmm. :dunno: And Matt is/was prolific enough he made top ten the first time, then after ban and return before ban he worked his way up to number 11.

I've only met a few, talked with a couple more and PM'd a few more than that. How is it that most of the cars are on the west coast, but not the posters?

Must have something to do with you CA guys being able to holler down the street to ask a question about these cars, but the rest of us... Not so close.

I was relieved to see I didn't make the top 30, maybe I have more of a life than I realized.
My average is going to be waaay down with MyE28's new server though. It's not Verizon wireless friendly which accounts for about 80% of my access (are those champagne corks I hear popping? :) ).

No, no, no! What this site needs is more of Charles, not less!

Is that the reason behind the new sig image? ;)

If you're including me, I technically do have one. It's a parts car, but still ... ;)

Mostly, I thought it was my obligation to post in the 'Post Whore' thread.

I was referring to you. I didn't know about the parts car, it's hard to keep up on all the fleets.

Fun trip down memory lane! My post-whoring as slowed down markedly in the last year or two, but it's cool to see most of the same characters filling up the board with their stream of consciousness.

I haven't been very active for the past several months, this probably contributed to you making it into the top 20. I'm #21.

Honestly, I wasn't too bummed when I dropped of the first page of results. Some of you guys... :rotz:

It looks like oldskool is about to pop up to the first page, though. He's gaining on rlomba. It must be all those, um vitamins.

I can say that I have met 23 or 24 out of the top 60 posters. I had two of them at my wedding. (Shawn knows what the beer is for)

And to think I got there since January of 2009; I must need to get out more. :rotz:

Edit: Looking at that list again made me remember that shagrath (Matt) was once known as stikrz; the stikrz account is still there, unused, but adds another 4108 posts to his name since he joined in '07. That puts him at #10. Not that it matters much, and not that I wanted to dredge up old crap, but thought I'd point that out.

P.S. ;)

I've met 6 on list #1 and 11 (should've been 12 Dave) on list #2.

You're making me blush. For everyone besides Dave, I think I've worked around the Verizon issue so don't pop the champagne corks just yet :D .

No, it's a Firefox/Photobucket issue :x .

I was told this was a paying gig. All I've gotten so far is a stained La Quinta robe and some free sharpie tattoos.

Great. Now I have guilt. :bawl:

We'll fix that yet this year, Sherman. Aiming for 4 Corners; if I miss that, then Three Sisters (is that still on?) But then again, Sioux Falls wouldn't be that far off the trail enroute to Toronto or back...

Me too. Of course I also wanted to have been born rich and good looking and I've settled for not being homeless nor making small children cry when they look at me. Or at least not all the time.

ooooohhhh, you're dirty.
... and Comment C**t rolls off the tongue like a full ashtray.

(I always felt that the C-word was the dirtiest of the dirty words. It is saved for the most dire hack jobs and hurtful injuries.)
