Maybe you havent' seen this. I was poking around at BimmerForums:
1000hp E39 ///M5

Question, why not run the nitrous right into the intake and make more power? It'll probably make more power that way than freeziing the IC :?

I dont know...I thought the revs would move faster than that...maybe he had to feather it cuz of wheel spin...

But the camera alwayz makes things seem slower anyway...probably will make ya insides shift when ya launch properly with the right tire./..

you gotta remember its a 5 liter motor, it's not gonna rev all that fast compared to our 3.5's or 2.5's

Its 1000 horsepower.....should it matter if it is 3.5 or 2.5.....isnt that a gearing issue...

Your car shouldnt rev faster than a 1000 hp car...that is around 4 times your output....

1.5 liter increase shouldnt have that effect...or am I wrong?

I would think that it's dependent upon having enough power to overcome the amount of reciprocating mass, ie pistons, crank, flywheel, and perhaps the engines ability to breathe.
