One of my fuel injectors broke while I was replacing them and the tip fell down into the manifold. What should I do? Due to the effects of the turbo...I my head gasket might be bad anyway, and I was probably headed to a gasket R&R in the newar future anyway. Now the question is, what else should I do? What gasket do I put on? Should I have anything done to the head (B34)? Should I have the intake ported for NOS???

I am thinking wide open here. What shopuld I do to keep this 150K mile engine reliable yet crazy fast?

First, I wouldn't turn the engine over at all until I pulled the intake manifold off and checked to see if the injector parts weren't just laying in there on the valves. If the parts are there, pull them out. If they are already in the cylinder you have to pull the head. If you can get the bits and pieces out with out pulling the head then I would do a leakage check on the motor and plan from there.

OK, Now for the 100 dollar question. How do you get at the lower nuts on the intake manifold? Do I need to call in the Fantastic 4? I can't seem to get the socket to line up due to the curvature of the intake runners, and there does not seem to be enough room to turn a wrench...

I'll buy the beer and pizza for anyone who wants to come over and show me how it's done!

1/4" drive socket, u-joint and assorted 1/4" extensions should do the job. I've been known to buy inexpensive sockets and "massage" them for specific purposes. (@)
