Here's a copy of my post on the old forum now that the new forum is back up:

Not having seen Dukes' car in awhile or for that matter any E28, it was just really nice to see a super clean E28 again.
That being said, it is always nice to drive Dukes' car, the car is so tight and so well put together, no rattles, no clunks or vibrations, he always has such good brakes too, this car is just a true JOY to drive. His car still catches my eye right away, just has a great stance and looks so damn clean, especially the engine bay and interior, something to be said about a cloth interior with leather acccents, very nice!!!
Now to the motor, that's the part you wanna hear anyway....Dukes is still working out some bugs so we never saw more than 9 lbs boost, but still it pulls so frigggin hard, it was just awesome....
It pulled hard enough that during the 2nd-3rd gear gear change it slung the passport radar detector and bracket that was mounted to the window to the floor in the back seat...this car pulls!!!
I wanted to powershift this car so bad but a bad clutch knee and with the lack of possible rebuild funding, I chose not to, would love to do it though...
The car is close to being a $100 bill car, you know put a $100 bill on the dash and see if anyone could grab it during launch or one of the pulls...
I would also love to see this car at 15lbs of boost, it would scare the shit out of you I am sure... and I know you couldn't grab the bill then....
This car will be even better with the bugs worked out but even now it will kill most cars on the road, it was a real treat and priviledge to drive and Thanks again Duke!!!

Was I impressed,
yes, many Kudos sent to Duke, Todd and Sweeney, you guys put together an ass kicker of a set up....

Will I go turbo now
as tempted as I am/was, may be, I will still do my own thing and go NA...my own version of NA probably

If anything could convice me to go turbo it is Dukes car, I can only imagine 15lbs of boost....

Thanks again Duke, beautiful car!!! and Motor!!!

Thanks again and be careful out there.......

And thank you for the kind words. It was a lot of fun sitting in the passenger seat and seeing you drive it for the first time. I have kinda gotten used to it, believe it or not.

Just imagine the ride you had without my 205 lb ass in the car. Its even better.

Duke...do you have an inviable brake on the passenger side when others drive your car. :p

Seriously it sounds Awesome.

N/A V's FI what are the diffrence on The M30 compared to a say a stroker 3.5?? will the Stroker go better around a Race track witht he extra torque and no lag....or is the pure unadulterated power of such a Turbo setup as Dukes Whip the N/A into oblivion??

The later, the turbo makes more torque everywhere than a N//A engine, storked or not. Look at any dyno chart. The thing with lag is, it doesn't hurt the car at a track. The percieved "lag" does nothing to upset the balance of the car, so theres only a benefit of mo power :D
