The new motor is ready to drop in. It should be in the car Monday or Tuesday.

very nice. Now you have great M20 engine pictures on a stand too. You gonna run that thing with a Moronic box? Wondering about the 60-2 wheel.

The E30 uses M1.3. The timing and rpm is derived from a sensor on that wheel. It also gets cam position from a pickup on the #6 plug wire.

I'm going to try to talk Todd into using it to power a ceiling fan in the pergola he built.

Heh heh that s a real super eta. The pipe between the turbo and the intake kinda reminds me of the front crossover exhaust on a ford 239 flathead :D

Drove it 52 miles today. Breaking in the motor and new clutch. Boost set a .5 bar which is clearly not enough. Also installed bigger front brakes, front/rear strut bars and a water temp gauge at the same time.

But boy do I hate those 17" wheels. Way to big for the car IMHO. I have a set of 16" BBS RS to refinish.

Todd
