Now that I've seen and driven the car, I really wish I'd been in the market.

Time to get the pics reposted, Chris.

Nice meeting you Oscar, and your wife and daughter.
They are real troopers for making the trip at that hour. She's a keeper, for sure.

My humble assesment;
The car really looks like shit, but is solid as hell, and runs and drives like a dream.
The shifter is shit too. You don't row those gears, you roooooooooooow those gears.
To hit second and fourth you had the shift knob in the back seat.
For the better than 2 hours I had behind the wheel, with the current suspension setup, RD's and Sports I was told, maybe it was the 14 inch wheels, it just seemed to glide down the road.
But if it were mine, the 3.73, at least that's my guess for the differential, would have to go, 3K rpm @ 70 mph is just a bit much.
I've not seen in a long time a more worthy candidate for poring a bit of money into.
Like I said, "I'm a bit disappointed in myself for not being in the market", but it's in very capable hands, now.

Although the car has a great and smooth running 2.5 in her, I've decided to go another route. I'm close to completing a low milage M30B34 for transplant. TCD stage 1 kit, Alpina front spoiler, Alpina gauge cluster, PFTuning stand alone system and 17" staggered style 32's are in route. I'll be starting a build thread soon and will there recognize the folks who have contributed to my cause.
