That is very nice. Looks like an ///M Sport?

Edit, I see now it is BeLiQ's car. Very nice!

T shirts available in XL Tall?

Maybe Vance will have my M-Sport bumper painted by then and I will be able to make the trip.

It'd be awesome if Vance could make it in his wicked turbo e23!

One of them. If he will get off his azz, he could have the 5 speed car ready.

My wife and I just got back from Rockdale.
We went up today to re-visit our host motel, Rainbow Courts, to settle a few logistical issues.
I've got to tell you that the website does not do the place justice.
When you drive onto the grounds you get the immediate sensation that you're entering into a different...
Never mind, you've got to go and experience it yourself.
The logistical questions have been answered, and I'm more convinced than ever that this year's event will exceed your expectations.
So, if you're wanting a special weekend away, with that special someone, this location and event will not leave either of you disappointed.

If anybody is needing to save some cash on accommodations, and stay at the host site so you don't miss any of the action, the time to act is now.
There are only a limited number of rooms left and only two (2) double suites left.
A double suite has 2 double beds, so it'd be easy to share a room and not have to sleep in the same bed with your roommate.
Both of these rooms also have couches, so in reality 3 could share the room cost for the two nights of lodging.
"The Cottage" suite is still available, which would have been our first choice had it been fitted with a king size bed.

A final friendly reminder; "corporate rates" will be discounted 10% when you mention "BMW" at time of registration.

To register, go to http://texfestlonestarburgersandfives.com/Page_2.html
Be sure and include your T-Shirt size, as event T-Shirts are provided free of charge to registrants by our Sponsors.

We now have an official registration site. http://texfestlonestarburgersandfives.com/Page_2.html
If you'll use this in addition to the above list, it will save a bit of work for us at the event.

Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.

I'm thinking we'll do a swap meet, parts sale, as part of Saturday's afternoon activities.
Your thoughts?

If it's a go, I'll start a new thread for you to list what you'll be bringing and the prices,
along with anything you'd like someone to bring and what you'd like to pay.

Again, your thoughts?

I haven't got the official okey-dokey from the spousal unit, so haven't officially signed up or booked a hotel room. 99.9% sure it's gonna happen though; her brother lives in Austin, so if the car angle isn't enough of a draw for her, seeing Dan'l should do it!

edit: Also, great call on the swap meet; bringing some parts down to unload or swap is another reason for her to like the idea.

About making reservations... http://www.mye28.com/viewtopic.php?p=1060590#1060590
You don't want to not stay at the Host Motel.
Just like the best restaurants offer both good food and atmosphere, The Rainbow Courts offer both great quarters and a fantastic overall atmosphere.
The motel owners even drive, I'm pretty sure it's an E63. :)

Event registration will be open up until the day before the event.
However, to be guaranteed an event T-Shirt and one in your size your registration must be in by September 10, 2012.
If your name is on the list, that counts too for the T-Shirts.

LoneStarBurgersAndFives.com will get you there, as will TexFest.net and TexFestLoneStarBurgersAndFives.com

GE wants me gone and is willing to pay to make it happen.

If all goes according to plan, I'll be retired Dec 1. Not taking any vacation from here on. Cancelled O'Fest and Austin's 1st b-day trips, cleverly leaving me free to attend TFLSBAF. Made the call to Rainbow Courts this AM.
