these are the first pics Ive seen. Maybe its old news, but I guess this engine is going to be a reality.
new BMW N54 turbo engine
Im there with that in ~2010 in a 5'r with SMG. With some simple mods costing ~$3k, Id say 475hp. Nice

first merc says they'll be making a 6.2 liter n/a motor amg style for their cars, and then bmw decides to starting going turbo? Whats this world coming to?

Man, those turbine outlets are humongoloid, they must be like 4in + ~0 . That will help cut down on heat and help lessen lag.

I just heard about the N62 now. A supercharged v8 that may go into the 7 so it can compete with the S55 Merc. Anyone else heard this one?

Nope, but Im behind by ~4months on my auto magazine reading also.
