Hey guys, i forgot if i have ever posted pics of my car before so i thought i'd go and do it. It was a totally stock 535i when i got it. I've done some mods to it, tell me what you think so far. Comments good and bad wanted. If i decide to keep the car, i will change the wheels, there ok but im not the biggest fan of them, its more the size that i dislike; too small.. Anyway, here ya go:

These Pics were taken about a half hour ago:

That is a pretty sharp front spoiler--any idea who made it?

Thanks! Its a Racing Dynamics front spoiler. Yeah its got that extra lip that the IS doesn't have, gives sort of a beefy look.

Its ok but its not loud enough. People can't hear it most of the time (highway passes, etc....) It needs to be louder and deeper. What slight mods ae done to yours?

where did you get those fantastic looking smoked turn signal lenses? Do they come in anything other than smoked?

Wow, someone who doesn't think the B&B is too loud; I thought I was the only one. Aren't you tempted to take off the Cat so it sounds like Evan's car? That was a pretty convincing argument for me.

I thought mine was to loud at certain rpm ranges. I cut off the big oval tip and installed a duel tip
with resinators in them to quiet it down a bit. I'll post a pic when I figure out how to do that on this board.

The front turn signals are from Turner Motorsports. They come in smoked and clear, and i choose the smoked. They are under the E30.

The bulbs i used are PIAA Superwhites and they give it that bluish color(produces nice color with the smoked lenses). Call em rice, or whatever, i think they look great. :D

Yeah when ever i need loud i just slip off the muffler and run where it comes out at the resonators. Try it, makes the car sound like the meanest thing on the street.

Nice I'm thinking about getting a pair of those for my 535is. What about the side marker lenses? Were they from Turner Also?

No i did those myself. I sprayed them with VHT Niteshades, about 6-7 coats of that(let dry between each coat) and then hit em with about 3 coats of clear coat. Simple easy job and well worth it.

That was a rough explination so let me ge a little further into deatail.

Take off the sidemarkers (watch not to loose those little rubber washer looking things when taking off) and clean the lenses good with a sponge and soap. Dry them and put em down and just spray like mentioned above. Be VERY careful not to touch the lenses after spraying unless your 100% sure its dry. Its SO damn hard to get a finger print smudge off once there (ask me how i know). This doesn't come off either. Not with rubbing alcohol, paint thinner, nail polish remover, so take your time and do it right!

HTH

Just beware, RacDyn Italy is upset about them, see www.racdyn.com for details...
